We had gone to the single's congregation at church on Sunday (so you can meet hotties and get married)....but we definitely didn't consider ourselves single at the time. He was dressed SO handsome in his khaki dress pants and white button up (sleeves slightly rolled like an abercrombie model) and probably an old tie he got from a buddy on his mission for the church.
I had a beat up '95 Pontiac Grand Am (it was 2005) and the AC was blowing hot air even if I didn't have the AC on at all. It was awful!
After driving us back and forth to church, we pulled into my parking garage at ASU and asked for a hair tie. He took off his tie and climbed under that nasty old car and with his pocket knife and a hair tie I and think he by-passed my heater core...but whatever he did, it stopped blowing hot air.
Thump Thump....Thump Thump....my heart was in love....I knew I need to keep this guy around.
SUPER lame and cheesy I know, but he's awesome, so whatever.

So....moving on to yesterday night. He called me from Auto Zone where he had gone to pick up some parts for his jeep or something. There was a lady in front of him in checkout that was pretty panicked because her car had stalled in the nearby intersection and she knew she needed to do some work on it, but hadn't taken it in yet.
Tyler offered to look at her car and fix whatever he could there in the parking lot. He said she laughed at him, said thanks, and went outside with the technician.
A couple of minutes later, she came back in and asked if she could take him up on his offer because she didn't know how she would get home. He borrowed some tools from Auto Zone and went to work. He fixed that ladies car and I'm sure he saved her OVER $300. She was SO appreciative and Tyler gave her our number for her to call if she had any other issues.
HOLY COW RIGHT?!
That scroungy, rowdy, guy I married.....is actually the sweetest man I know.
I think he just uses his skills to swoon me.
