Family Time

The Curtis Family

A family picture! Tyler and I went down to Tucson for the holidays and managed to squeeze in a spur-of-the-moment Curtis family photo shoot. It was so much fun and we all played photographer, standing back to check the details, looking at different angles, using different poses...needless to say, we have TONS of pictures. Here is a little sampling...........

Tyler and Kristina

Don and Jessie

We had so much fun at Grandma Lopez's house! I ate ALL day and I'm not even kidding, but I figured , what the heck, one day won't kill me right? We watched a little Planet Earth (Tyler got it for Christmas), rode the tractor to 'the end of the world' on the property, visited with family, we even did a little ropin'.............

Here are some highlights from a Schumacher Christmas:

Christmas was a good one this year! We spent FIVE days down in Southern Arizona and it was so nice to get away and visit with everyone. We hope you had just as much fun with your families!

Enjoying my vacation

I have two whole weeks off! I love my job! I'm trying to find things that keep me busy but also make the day go by slowly since I want to fully luxuriate in my holiday. That means...minimal television, computer, and errands because those things always seem to suck up my day like a black hole.
This weekend Tyler and I went to my mom's house to help her prepare for this upcoming weekend. She will have 10 people spending the night at her house for Christmas Eve and even more coming over for Christmas Day! We decided to be good kids and update her house with an interior paint job, some tape and texture, and a good cleandown. She was super stressed, but I know she appreciated it.
My brother also graduated from bootcamp and was able to come home this weekend! It was really great to see him and he looked so 'manly'...(not that you didn't before Ray). We get to enjoy him for a few short days and then he is off to Korea. I just hope he takes it for what its worth and really enjoys the culture and takes full advantage of being abroad when he is able.
So...the day begins! Agenda: Walk with the neighbor, go grocery shopping (I'll post about this process soon, and trust me, it is a process), make fudge for my grandma, and make some baby shower invites for my sister.

The Fun Begins!

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog! I figured I should jump on this bandwagon since I know so many people that I would love to keep in touch with and secretly, I think I will really like blogging. I will need to monitor myself closely though because this could become a seriously dangerous habit even more dangerous than trashy reality television and a good popsicle.

Since my page in general is pretty boring at this moment, I thought it might be nice to have something to look at if you happened to stop by.

Don't worry...more is forthcoming!
